CHP - South Lake Tahoe is describing their work as January 11 is Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office Human Exploitation and Recovery Operations Team recently finished up a multi-day operation.

A police operation helped rescue 17 adults and a child who were found to be victims of human trafficking.
