Memorial Day events in Fernley will honor veterans with ceremonies and volunteer flag displays.

Scouting America scouts from St. Albert the Great Catholic Church spent some time today placing flags on veterans' graves.

The public is invited to attend the Memorial Day events scheduled at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo signed a bill into law on Wednesday, designating an International Holocaust Remembrance Day in the state of Nevada.

Each year, the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley takes part in Wreaths Across America Day.
