Share Your Christmas Drive-by Food Drive a Success

Our 23rd annual "Share Your Christmas" Drive-By Food Drive is today until 6 p.m.

    

We are set up at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, the Governor's Mansion in Carson City and the Carson Valley Inn in Minden. 

    

Stop by before 6:00 p.m. and drop off some non-perishable food or money. 

Totals are slowly coming in but so far we know: 

Reno, Grand Sierra Resort: about 60,000 pounds of food, and about $80,000 

Carson City, governor's mansion: about 68,000 pounds of food (including 50,000 pounds from Raley's), and more than $12,000 

Minden, Carson Valley Inn: more than 136,000 pounds of food, and more than $13,000

Last year we collected a total of more than 246,000 pounds of food, and more than $169,000 in monetary donations.
