Snow is falling in higher elevations, close to Donner Lake.
At the time of this writing, I-80 is open with no controls.
There are some closures in the Sierras including westbound Highway 4 near Markleeville, Tioga Pass (SR 120), Sonora Pass due to snow.

KTVN Meteorologist Jeff Martinez says scattered showers will continue in eastern Nevada with a winter weather advisory up until 11pm. Shower activity will continue through the early evening hours as a low pressure system tracks through the region. Dress warmly today with chilly temperatures only in the 40s and 50s today with brisk north winds 5-20mph. We dry out by Friday and the weekend with mid to upper 60s by Sunday with sunny skies
