Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured one person in Sparks early Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened after 1:15 p.m. on Sullivan Lane near Greenbrae Drive.

Police say one victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police say there's no threat to the public.
