The Philadelphia Eagles were again hit hard by injuries in their loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The first bit of bad news for the Eagles came when All-Pro offensive lineman Lane Johnson was a mysterious late scratch. Saquon Barkley went down early with a hamstring injury suffered on a short run. Quinyon Mitchell, Jonathan Greenard, Tank Bigsby all went to the sideline medical tent at some point. DeVonta Smith and Zack Baun were among the six starters ruled out ahead of the game. The Eagles could have used them. They blew a late 10-point lead and lost 24-20 to the Rams.
