The BLM says the 4,840-acre Springs Fire burning in Mono County, California is now 70% contained.
The BLM says the lightning-sparked fire started July 26th 13 miles southeast of Lee Vining.
The fire is expected to be fully contained on October 1st.
Travelers along California Highway 120, east of U.S. Highway 395, should expect to see smoke along roads and plan for limited visibility from morning until early afternoon.
