The ‘Stuff a Bus’ drive will be happening outside Sam’s Club this Thursday to help keep kids warm this winter.
The goal is to help over 700 Washoe County children in foster care, by collecting your warm clothes.
If you want to donate you won't even have to get out of your car. Just drive up to the RTC bus in front of Sam’s Club on Kietzke Lane and hand over your donations.
It’s happening this Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Needed items include: jackets, coats, gloves, socks, blankets sweatpants, boots, beanies, hooded sweatshirts, and gift cards.
"After the Stuff A Bus donation drive, the Human Services Agency will take all the donations to our Family Engagement Center in Sparks. Our engagement center is one of the hubs where children have visits with their families. It's there that children of all ages will come and staff will distribute clothes to keep them warm throughout the winter," said Children's Services Director Ryan Gustafson.
