More Americans Putting Off Retirement; More Reasons Than Money

From the CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada:

CARE Chest of Sierra Nevada raised more than $24,000 during Bacon, Bourbon & Brews, held June 13 and hosted by the Peppermill Reno. Funds raised help underwrite CARE Chest's free medical resource programs Northern Nevadans.

The third-annual event featured bacon-inspired culinary creations prepared by the Peppermill team paired with beers from local craft brewers. The “Bourbon Garden” featured more than a dozen bourbons, including locally distilled offerings from 7 Troughs and The Depot.

“The Peppermill took this event to the next level with amazing food and a great atmosphere,” Said Patti Meals, CARE Chest executive director. “We are thankful for the community of friends and businesses that support this fundraiser to help us serve thousands of Northern Nevada families each year.”

Event sponsors included: KOCH Elevator, NV Energy, Dolan Automotive, ComputerLand, Reno Buick GMC, First Independent Bank, Dreams Realty, Arbors Memory Care, Gem Gallery, Mutual of Omaha, Allegra Printing, KTVN and The Peppermill Reno Casino Resort Spa.
