The Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District (TDFPD) reports they extinguished a house fire on Wednesday evening at residence near Elk Point.
They said three people and a dog were displaced after a kitchen grease fire spread through the living room.
TDFPD says everyone made it out safely, although one person received burns to their hands and feet.
