The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force say they arrested a Compton Crip gang member after a standoff in Sparks on Tuesday.Â
Marshals say Terry Williams has a violent criminal history which include arrests for Attempted Murder, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Drug Trafficking of Methamphetamine, Obstruction of Police Officer and Robbery. Â
In May, Williams walked away from a halfway house in Las Vegas. Williams was on federal supervision for a prior federal conviction of Felon in Possession of a Weapon.Â
Marshals tracked Williams to an address near View Street and Prater Way.Â
The Regional Crime Suppression Unit and Repeat Offenders Program were also involved in the case.
In a previous version, we identified Williams in a different standoff story that also occurred in Sparks on the same day.Â
