Elders with the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe will get COVID-19 vaccines starting this week.

The Pyramid Lake Tribal Health Clinic Health Board and Pyramid Lake Tribal Council have approved a vaccine priority guideline for Moderna's distribution. "We will be starting with our Elders, those with compromised health risks, and essential workers," the Paiute Tribe announced on its Facebook page.

Essential workers include health care workers, EMS, police, social services, child care and victim services, among others, listed below.   

The Tribe's schedule will depend on vaccine supplies, scheduling and staffing.
