Community members have only a few days left to take part in a fundraiser supporting local police and fire departments in Sparks.
According to the Sparks Police Department in an online post, Chick-fil-A in Sparks is hosting the fundraiser through June 6 to benefit local police and fire departments.
Will you back the red team or the blue team? Community members can show their support for either the fire department or police department during the friendly fundraiser by picking their favorite team with each qualifying purchase. Whether they're cheering for firefighters or rooting for officers, the competition offers a fun way to support the men and women who serve the community while adding a little hometown bragging rights to the mix.
People who purchase a gallon of Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade can choose their favorite team as part of the competition.
The fundraiser is aimed at supporting the men and women who serve the community while encouraging public participation before the event concludes later this week.
