All 50 states and Washington, D.C. have now certified their presidential results. West Virginia was the last state, finishing its certification Wednesday.
The final electoral count is projected to be President-elect Joe Biden 306, President Trump 232.
Electors are now required by law to meet December 14 and cast their votes.
This comes after a suit from the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was filed on December 8 against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in the United States Supreme Court.
The suit claims the states exploited the COVID-19 pandemic to justify unlawfully enacting last-minute changes and skewing the results of the 2020 General Election, according to Paxton's site.
Seventeen states joined Texas in the suit, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia.
On Wednesday, President Trump asked the Supreme Court to let him join the lawsuit.

The Supreme Court should respond to the case by Thursday.
