Nevada finishes the 2020 regular season with a 6-2 record after suffering a 30-20 loss to San Jose State Friday night in Las Vegas.

Junior DB Mikael Bradford posted the first double-digit tackle performance of his career finishing the game with a career and team-high 11 tackles, including five solo stops.

Junior WR Romeo Doubs led the team with nine receptions in the game, his highest receptions total since the season opener against Wyoming.

Romeo Doubs totaled 75 receiving yards in the game and still has a chance to become Nevada’s first 1,000-yard receiver in a single season since Rishard Matthews in 2011 if Nevada receives a bowl berth. Doubs is currently at 960 receiving yards this season.

Junior DB Tyson Williams recorded his third career interception and his second of the season in the first half, which led to a Wolf Pack touchdown on offense.

Senior NT Zak Mahannah posted the first solo sack of his career, going for a loss of 10 yards.

Sophomore PK Brandon Talton was 2-for-3 in field goal attempts in the game, snapping his streak of 19 consecutive field goals made under 50 yards on a 25-yard miss in the second quarter. He moved up to ninth all-time at Nevada in career kick scoring with 161 points and remains seventh in career field goals made with 36.

Junior RB Toa Taua finished the game four rushing yards shy of recording his third 100-yard rushing game of the season.

Junior RB Devonte Lee scored his second rushing touchdown of the season, and first since game two at UNLV. It was the 16th rushing touchdown of Lee’s career.

The all-time series now stands at 22-10-2 in favor of Nevada. The Spartans snapped a three-game losing streak to the Wolf Pack.

Up next, Nevada will wait to find out its fate for a possible bowl game berth.
