The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Oakland A's could relocate to Las Vegas if the City doesn't drop its Coliseum land lawsuit.

CBS Sports says MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred reportedly warned Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and City Councilman Larry Reid that the Athletics could move to Las Vegas if they don't get their way.

Oakland is suing Alameda County to prevent it from selling the Coliseum to the A's as part of a redevelopment plan that would then see the team build a new ballpark while maintaining ownership of the old stadium's site.

The Coliseum has been the Athletics' home since they relocated from Kansas City in the late 1960s.

The Las Vegas Aviators, affiliated with the Oakland Athletics, opened this year at a suburban Summerlin ballpark.
