Two Pipe Bombs Found in North Reno Home

Investigators found two pipe bombs in a North Reno home tonight. First responders have since safely disposed of the explosives.

Police tell Channel 2 News, a bail bondsman, with prior military experience, went to a home on Harding Way to revoke a bond when he saw, what he believed to be, an improvised explosive device.

They say the bondsman left the home and called police around 3:00 p.m. Friday.

A SWAT team was on scene attempting to make contact with the individual.

Road closures were place near the incident and some homes nearby were evacuated for hours - but have since re-opened.

No arrests have been made and investigators say they are not looking for any suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
