The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service says there is a recall of approximately 35,459 pounds of chicken fried rice products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
They said Choice Canning Company, Inc., did not declare that the products contain milk on the product label.
The products were produced on February 13 and 19. Here is a list of those items:
22 oz. printed polybag of “FUSIA Asian Inspirations, Chicken Fried Rice, Complete Skillet Meal,” with a packaging date of 2/13/2019, and a Best if Used By date of 08/13/2020 on the label.
22 oz. printed polybag of “FUSIA Asian Inspirations, Chicken Fried Rice, Complete Skillet Meal,” with a packaging date of 2/19/2019, and a Best if Used By date of 08/19/2020 on the label.
The products bear the number "P-45217" inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.
The USDA says there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions, but they are urging customers not to consume the items.
