Wells Fargo Bank Settles Sexual Harassment Lawsuit With Tellers

Wells Fargo has agreed to pay four women $290,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit filed over the treatment of four tellers at a branch in Reno.

The suit alleged a female manager and another female bank teller at the branch regularly subjected the tellers to graphic sexual comments, gestures and images, along with inappropriate touching.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission found the offensive conduct was reported several times to management, but Wells Fargo did not act quickly enough to stop it.
