3 people were arrested Saturday night, one for battery on a police officer, afterÂ
Reno Police Officers were called to the 2100 block of Kietzke Lane to assist a vehicle. When they arrived they found five adults, 3 women and 2 men, pushing the vehicle out of the roadway. The group was uncooperative and when RPD attempted to restrain certain individuals, 47-year-old Tarik Messaad fought the officer resulting in minor injuries.Â
Messaad was arrested for battery on a protected person.Â
Two other passengers were arrested on scene. Dalisha Kindle was charged with giving a false statement/obstructing a public officer and minor consuming alcohol in public. Michael Chesser was charged with giving a false statement/obstructing a public officer.Â
