The Washoe County School District is looking to hire for a number of positions at two upcoming job fairs.

Both hiring fairs will be at Debbie Smith CTE Academy at 2880 Sutro Street in Reno. 

The first one is Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

And the second is Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WCSD is primarily hiring for non-licensed positions including: 

  • Housekeeping
  • Transportation
  • Nutrition Services
  • Capital Projects
  • Classroom Aides and Assistants
  • All other open positions 

Human Resources personnel will be on site at these events to accept applications and answer questions from prospective employees. The district offers weekends off, paid vacations, holidays, sick leave, health benefits, professional growth opportunities, and PERS retirement.

Candidates are encouraged to arrive at the hiring fair with their applications already completed. For assistance with the application procedure, they can visit WCSD Human Resources (425 E. Ninth Street, Reno) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through June.
