 Sparks Police have arrested Dakota James Cain in connection to an armed Robbery at the Paycheck Advance on Prater Way.
Dakota James Cain was located in Reno, arrested for outstanding warrants and interviewed by Sparks Police. He was cooperative and admitted to both Robberies.Â
Sparks officers responded to a robbery in progress at Paycheck Advance located at 549 E. Prater Way.
When officers arrived on scene, they were advised that the suspect had fled into the Save Mart next door and could not be found.
Officers later learned the suspect had shown the clerk a threatening note, demanding money from the Paycheck Advance business. However, the clerk refused to give the suspect any money.
Investigators say the suspect's actions and description are similar to an earlier reported Robbery at the Scolari's, located at 950 Holman Way. Â
