The BLM says a nearly 6,300-acre brush fire about 30 miles southeast of Winnemucca is now fully contained.Â
The Buffalo Fire is located near Buffalo Mountain in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
There's no word on how the fire started, but the BLM does say that sage-grouse habitat is threatened.Â
