An early morning burglary turns into a struggle when a male suspect enters an apartment bedroom with knives in hand.
Sparks Police responded to a 911 call of a woman saying an unwanted man was in her room holding two knives at 4:53 a.m. on March 15, 2020.
It is reported by one of two victims a suspect allegedly entered with two knives, standing over their bed.
A male victim says they began to fight with the intruder. In the fight he sustained a minor laceration on his hand from a knife.
The suspect ran away from officers as they approached the apartment complex.
A suspect, identified as Wilder Cruzado was then apprehended.
Wilder Cruzado was booked at Washoe County Jail for burglary, battery with a deadly weapon and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
