Caldor dead trees

The Forest Service wants your comments on a plan to remove hazardous trees from the Caldor Fire area.
Beginning Friday April 1, most of the Caldor fire area in the Eldorado National Forest will again be open for public access.
The mill will produce about 50 million feet of lumber per year and will employ about 40 people.
