The Reno Fire Department says crews responded at an apartment fire in the 3100 block of South Virginia Street on Monday afternoon.
Officials said there was a heavy smoke in the apartment but the fire was quickly put out.
It was food on the stove and no one was injured.
Officials said no one was displaced.
