The Carson City Fire Department says they responded to a fire near the Carson City Landfill at Flint Drive on Friday evening.
They said it started near the rifle range and was burning in the construction area of the landfill when crews arrived.
They said the fire was contained at two acres.
They said there were no evacuations and no injuries.
Carson City Fire Department says multiple agencies responded to help and cover calls.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
