The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says around 2 p.m., the road was shut down on Kingsbury Grade at Foothill Road in anticipation of suspects driving on Kingsbury eastbound.
They said the suspects had felony warrants and were being followed by an area task force.
They said they were requested to shut down the road to intercept them, but the suspects changed their direction and drove into South Lake Tahoe, California.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office says one of the suspects were arrested in California.
They said there is no other information available at this time.
