Donald Trump Stumps in the Silver State

Donald Trump did some campaigning in Las Vegas on Thursday. He packed the house at the Treasure Island Resort on the Strip. And he led with the hard-hitting issue of being on the cover of People Magazine.

"I have more covers than any supermodel. Really I do. Believe it," he said to the crowd,

Then an unidentified woman joined him on stage with a copy of the magazine and yelled his praises to the crowd.

"I am Hispanic," she hollered. "I am Hispanic and I love Mr. Trump. I am voting for Mr. Trump. We love you Trump! Yeah!"

That led Trump to talk of a survey of Hispanics in Nevada.

"All Hispanics love me," He said. "I'm sure you saw the poll. They took a poll and I won with the Hispanics in Nevada! They are incredible people."

Locally, public relations experts spent the lunch hour today talking about Trump. They invited a panel of experts to discuss Trump as a candidate and his impact on the political process.

"He's the 'un' candidate," Greg Ferraro with the Ferraro Group said. "He's unorthodox, he's unforgiving, he's unapologetic and most importantly he's under-rated."

University of Nevada Political Science Professor. Eric Herzik added to that.

"At one level Donald Trump is under-estimated but I think he underestimates the process. Because at some point here it will be about more than the big headline. It will become about being organized on the ground, especially in early states like Nevada."
