The downtown Reno library first opened to the public in 1966. Sunday, the library is celebrating it's 50th birthday.
The library is inviting the public to come help celebrate. The party will include programs, displays of historical photographs and cake.
The party will take place at the library, located at 301 S. Center Street, from 10am-5pm.
