Eternal Board Shop in Sparks will soon close its doors for good, after being in business for 21 years.

“The snowboard business has been rough for the past several years,” says Michael Dunn, Owner Eternal Board Shop. “The obvious lack of snow and severe drought of the last 3-4 years has hurt our winter business badly. Snowboarding used to be our bread and butter. Combine this with an all-around sluggish economy and I was forced to make some hard decisions. Eternal just could not make it any longer. Sadly it was time to pull the plug.”

Eternal Board Shop opened in 1994 in the San Francisco Bay area, but soon moved its snowboard business to the Reno area to be closer to the mountains.

At its height, Eternal Board Shop operated three locations in the greater Reno area in addition to three online stores including www.eternalsnow.com

Eternal Board Shop is selling off its remaining inventory. They plan to stay open through April.
