Students in Washoe County begin their fall break on Monday. But for some, they'll use the week out of school to improve their grades.Â
Reed High School is holding intersession classes next week, Â Monday through Thursday. Those sessions are in the morning, from 8:00-12:00.Â
 Â
"Obviously we cannot mandate students coming in on vacation, but we can strongly motivate, incentivize students coming in," said Josh Rosenbloom, Principal at Reed High School.Â
Â
Reed has invited about 200 students to come in next week. They're focusing on the seniors who need credit recovery in order to graduate on time next June.
"It's a great opportunity, and we are consistently looking to maximize the opportunity to support students, to get students in here so they can get on that path to graduation," he said.Â
According to the school district, the spring intersession classes are the most attended. The district says they are seeing positive results, the graduation rate for the 2014-15 school year jumped to 75%. How big of a role intersession classes has not been determined.Â
