Crews Fight Wildland Fire North of Truckee Near Highway 89

Fire crews contained a wildfire west of Pyramid Lake Sunday. The fire was near Quail Canyon Road and Pyramid Highway.

Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and the Bureau of Land Management Fire were able to knock it down in a few hours. 

The fire burned 30 acres and threatened no structures.Â
