Braden Shipley Plays in MLB Futures Game

Former Nevada standout and current volunteer coach Krysta Palmer has secured herself a spot on Team USA in the 3-meter springboard for the World Championships that will take place July 20-21 in Budapest. She finished the Individual Trials on Sunday in second place, after scoring a 927.60 in her event.

With Team USA only taking the top two performers, Palmer was just one of two divers to score above the 900-point mark. The other was Brooke Shultz, who finished in first with a score of 976.30. Palmer also average a score of 67.65 per round, which was the highest score amongst the other divers.

Jian Li You, Nevada’s diving coach, will be joining Palmer at the Championships, as part of the coaching staff for Team USA.
