Jennifer Burton: Today the community gathered in Sparks for "Cuts for a Cause" to help raise money for the non-profit Aiden's Gift.
The third annual event was held at Shearz today and their goal was to raise twenty-five-hundred-dollars to buy new equipment for local special needs children like wheelchairs and bath chairs.
The president and founder of the organization told us they couldn't do it without the public's help.
Robert Jacot: Community support local here in sparks is absolutely critical to help Aiden's gift foundation. Kids in the area here there are so many kids with special needs that aren't covered by insurance that we can help out.
Burton: 100% of the funds raised from haircuts today went to Aiden's Gift. Several other local business also donated a portion of their proceeds today.
