A man was sentenced to 264 months in prison and lifetime supervised release on Thursday for child pornography.

49-year-old Craig Pozesky of Henderson pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography.

Pozesky uploaded images of child pornography to his email account with the intent of sending the images to another individual. After law enforcement obtained a search warrant of his residence, Pozesky admitted to viewing, downloading and possessing hundreds of images and videos of children as young as one year old being sexually assaulted by adults. He also admitted to trading child porn with other individuals, including receiving an USB drive containing child porn from another person.

He also engaged in sexually explicit online conversations with an underage child and was in the process of coordinating a meeting with the minor when he was arrested.

Pozesky was already a convicted felon and registered sex offender at the time of his arrest. His sex offender status was based on prior convictions in Nevada and Florida for aggravated sexual abuse, sexual abuse and abusive sexual conduct involving a minor offenses.
