Legends Laying Foundation for Future Business

Legends in Sparks is a hubbub of activity these days. Not only do officials there report a strong holiday season they say they have their sites set on an even stronger spring. Today they had crews grading dirt for two new buildings that will house six new tenants. And four of those are secured.

"We are excited to bringing in a Dunkin' Donuts," said marketing director Jennifer Brancciotti. "Dunkin' Donuts opened in Carson City in December but this will be a first in he market for the Reno Sparks area and this one will be a drive-thru. So we're really excited about it."

In addition they are adding a Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.

Menchie's has locations all across the country and around the world but the closest one to us is in Roseville. So this will be their home," Bracciotti said. "Plus we are adding a Jimmy John's and a Pacific Dental for services here. The other two spaces are will open but we think these are great tenants and they will help us bring in more great tenants."

She says the businesses all plan to open in late Spring. And when asked about rumors of a Panera Bread Company coming to Sparks she said that was just rumor as far as she knew. She also said the Wal-Mart project there is moving forward but had no details or dates.
