There are several fireworks displays and other events planned for the Fourth of July holiday across northern Nevada and California.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE:
A parade and food truck park will be held on the Fourth of July, starting at 10 a.m.
The parade runs from Ski Run Blvd., down US 50, and ends on Al Tahoe at Bijou Park.
“Ski Run from Tamarack to US 50 will be closed starting at 8:00AM until about 11:00AM and there will be rolling closures as the parade moves through town,” said Ray Jarvis, Public Works Director.
There will be live music, a 20-foot-tall eagle balloon, and more.

NORTHSTAR CALIFORNIA:
A bike parade will be held throughout the Village at Northstar.
Free red, white and blue decorations will be available in front of Mine Children's Store from noon - 2:00 p.m. Get your face painted and meet local first responders before the parade starts, then at 2 p.m. the parade will take place.

SQUAW VALLEY:
Squaw Valley USA will be open for skiing and snowboarding, July 3-5.
There will be three days of live music from Grant Farm at Gold Coast, paying tribute to the 1991 concert by the Jerry Garcia Band that took place nearby. There will be more fun at the High Camp pool & hot tub and a free show at KT Base Bar with Paul Oakenfold!

TRUCKEE:
Events here include the annual Fourth of July parade and fireworks show at the west end of Donner Lake.
On July 4th, Donner Pass Road will be closed from Meadow Way to Bridge St. Downtown starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. and finish around noon. I-80 and West River St. are alternatives if you need to get across town.
As for the fireworks, show traffic at the west end of Donner Lake is encouraged to use Donner Lake Interchange and I-80 eastbound to get back into town.
RENO:
KTVN and Great Clips are presenting fireworks at Greater Nevada Field after the game on July 3rd.
Reno 1868 FC will play against Rio Grande Valley FC starting at 7:15 p.m.

Also - KTVN and KBUL are presenting Independence Day Fireworks at Greater Nevada Field after the game on the Fourth of July.
The Aces will take on the Sacramento River Cats starting at 6:35 p.m.

SPARKS:
Fireworks will be set off from the roof of the Nugget Casino Resort!
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. on July 4th in Downtown Sparks on Victorian Square.There will be live music, food booths, crafts and vendors, free hay wagon rides and more! Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Free shuttles will take passengers to RTC CENTENNIAL PLAZA in Sparks from 6 p.m. until midnight on July 4. Shuttle service will run from two locations:
• Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center, 1350 N. Wells Avenue in Reno (Provided by All West Coachlines and the RTC and sponsored by the Nugget.)
• Sparks Christian Fellowship, 510 Greenbrae Drive in Sparks (Provided by All West Coachlines and sponsored by the Nugget.)
ARTOWN:
'An American Salute July 4 Celebration' will be held at Wingfield Park at 7:30 p.m.
The event is free and will feature the Reno Phil.

DAMONTE RANCH:
An old-fashioned Fourth of July event will be held at Damonte Ranch Park at 1950 Steamboat Parkway.
A kids decorated bike parade at 5:30 p.m. with a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.

VIRGINIA CITY:
Fourth of July holiday celebrations begin at 10 a.m. then a parade through the town at noon.
Other festivities include old-west shootouts, shopping and train rides.
A concert featuring David Johns and the Comstock Cowboys, will be at the Bucket of Blood parking lot at 6 p.m.
A fireworks show is scheduled to start at dusk, around 9:15 p.m. or 9:30 p.m.

NATIONAL MALL:
President Trump is promising military tanks along with "Incredible Flyovers & biggest ever Fireworks!" for the Fourth of July in Washington.
Trump said Monday that tanks will be part of a special event he's headlining Thursday to honor the military.

The Pentagon & our great Military Leaders are thrilled to be doing this & showing to the American people, among other things, the strongest and most advanced Military anywhere in the World.
