The Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program (ROP) says they have arrested Murry McKinley for Burglary, Embezzlement and Uttering a Forged Instrument. ROP started investigating McKinley after receiving a tip that he was involved in a Counterfeit Money operation in Reno/Sparks area.
ROP Detectives discovered that McKinley was passing counterfeit currency at local stores and commercial businesses.
ROP is comprised of detectives from Sparks Police Department, Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Parole and Probation.
