The Reno Police Department says a man was arrested for solicitation of prostitution on August 6.

Officials said the Human Exploitation and Trafficking team (HEAT) conducted a street-level demand reduction operation by targeting sex purchasers or "johns," with the use of a female undercover detective.

They said during the operation, detectives contacted four men who solicited the detective for sex. Officials said three of the men were issued a citation and the fourth, 29-year-old Aaron Frazier, was arrested for solicitation of prostitution, pandering of an adult and had a misdemeanor warrant.

Officials said in addition to soliciting the detective for prostitution,Frazier allegedly took additional steps to recruit her, in an attempt to get her to work for him as a prostitute. They said he was taken into custody without incident.
