UPDATE (6/20/26, 2:54pm):
According to the Washoe Regional Emergency Center, people in Hidden Valley who have been affected by the flash flooding are being encouraged to push any soil, mud and debris out into the street. This is so that Washoe County road crews can collect and dispose of it.
Crews from Waste Management will be providing large dumpsters for any household trash and building materials. Officials have asked that these materials are kept separate from dirt/soil/mud.
Hidden Valley Regional Park will remain closed until further notice.
