Next weekend the East Fork Fire Protection District and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office are having a dodgeball game to raise money for two kids with medical issues.
The Elisa Storke Memorial Dodgeball Game will be held on Friday, May 1 at the Douglas County High School main gym, located on Highway 88.
It is named in honor of Elisa Storke, who you may remember was a mother and wife of a Douglas County detective who lost her battle with cancer last year.
Proceeds from this year's tournament will benefit two Northern Nevada children who are fighting serious illnesses.
