The Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District says crews responded to a motorcycle crash on US-50 at Elks Point Road near Zephyr Cove on Friday afternoon.
Officials said westbound traffic was reduced to one lane.
They said one patient was taken to the hospital.
It's unknown the extent of their injuries at this time.
Drivers should expect delays in the area.
