There will be some new improvements to Mt. Rose Highway.
And as a result, there will be some road closures.
Starting Wednesday, lanes will be closed as crews improve guardrails and resurface the road.
Pilot cars will help direct traffic at Mt. Rose Ski Resort and Incline Village Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The closures are expected to last until October.
