The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) reports that a crash near Silver Springs has caused US-50 to close in both directions on Wednesday afternoon.
They said the crash was at Damon's Curve in Silver Springs.
The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) says a motorcycle went off the road.
CareFlight was requested and the driver was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
NDOT reports the road at Damon's Curve has been reopened.
