Nevada Copper Corp. says it has started production at its Pumpkin Hollow mine near Yerington.
The company says it has spent about $200 million to develop the underground mine where it’s expected to produce up to 30,000 tons of copper concentrate every year.
The mine is expected to operate for about 13.5 years.
