With Nevada’s 77-68 win over the Eagles the best-of-three series is tied at 1-1. MSU won 86-83 in Morehead, Ky. on Monday.
·        The Wolf Pack won for the first time in three meetings with the Eagles.
·        Tonight’s crowd of 7,431 is the third largest at Lawlor Events Center this season and largest in the CBI this year.
·        Nevada improved to 15-3 at home and 9-0 at home in nonconference games.
·        The 37 games played by Nevada is a school record.
·        Junior D.J. Fenner scored a career-high 26 points as four Pack players scored in double figures.
·        Freshman Cameron Oliver posted his team-high 11th double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.Â
·        Oliver had three blocks and his 93 is a new Mountain West freshman record and he also passed JaVale McGee (2007-08) for the second best season in school history. Edgar Jones (1977-78) holds singles season mark with 96.
·        Oliver now has two or more blocks in 28 games.
·        Oliver has scored in double figures in the last 12 games.
·        Seniors Tyron Criswell (12 pts) and Marqueze Coleman (10 pts) also scored in double figures.
·        Coleman has scored in double figures a team-high 25 times this season.
·        Nevada (23-14) and Morehead State (23-13) will play for the College Basketball Invitational Championship on Friday at 6 p.m. in Reno.
