The Nevada Supreme Court will hear arguments Tuesday on a ballot measure to ban sanctuary cities in the state.

Back in January, the ACLU of Nevada challenged the legality of a ballot measure that would bar government entities across the state from adopting "sanctuary city" policies aimed at protecting illegal immigrants.

“So they lower court found that the initiative was vague and overbroad,” says Holly Welborn, Policy Director, ACLU of Nevada.

The "Prevent Sanctuary Cities PAC" appealed the ruling and now judges will hear arguments Tuesday around 10 a.m.
