From the The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation:
The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) is encouraging claimants to use the website
http://ui.nv.govto file their weekly unemployment insurance claims rather than call the telephone claims center.
Over the weekend, the website portal began experiencing technical difficulties, however the problem has been resolved and the website is fully functional, said Renee Olson, administrator for DETR's Employment Security Division.
“We understand that even a brief interruption of our claims system can cause an inconvenience to our customers,” Olson said. “We would like to assure our claimants that we have done everything possible to resolve the issue so that they may proceed with filing their claims. We encourage claimants to utilize the website, rather than call the claims center as internet filing is faster and more convenient. Internet filing is available 24 hours a day, except for during scheduled maintenance.”
You can again file claims by going to
http://ui.nv.gov/for more information. You can also file your claims by calling 775-684-0350 for Northern Nevada and 775-486-0350 for Southern Nevada.
