The alleged mastermind behind a scheme to replace legitimate electors in the 2020 election with fake ones is now cooperating in another criminal investigation.

Kenneth Chesebro has agreed to cooperate with investigators looking into efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Nevada, CNN reports.

Chesebro pleaded guilty in the Georgia 2020 election subversion case and has admitted to conspiring with then president Trump to advance fake electors in multiple states.

His cooperation with Nevada investigators will cover his involvement in the state leading up to the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

At least five states have launched criminal investigations into efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Chesebro has also reportedly been contacted by prosecutors in Arizona according to multiple sources, but the status of those talks is unkown at this time.
